GO1: Entebbe International Airport
Forest birding holiday starts with evening arrival at EBB airport where a representative from Go Uganda Safaris will meet and greet you before driving you to Kampala. O/N :Cassia  Hotel / Nexus resort B/B

GO2: Budongo Forest birding –Busingiro
Leave for Budongo forest early morning, have lunch in Masindi town and later drive to Busigiro sector for afternoon birding. O/N: Kabalega Resort/ Masindi Hotel F/B

GO3: Royal Mile - Budongo Forest
Budongo Forest birding, drive early morning to Budongo’s Royal Mile a site for several species, it is the best place in Uganda for Nahan’s Francolin, Cassin’s Spinetail and Chestnut-capped Flycatcher. We shall also search for Chocolate-backed and African Dwarf Kingfishers. Fruiting trees attract White-thighed and Black-and-White Hornbills, Western Black-headed Oriole and Purple-headed Glossy Starling. Greenbuls and this is one of the only sites holding Spotted Xavier’s, White-throated and Honey guide. The tall tree Canopies supports Brown-crowned Eremomela and the elusive Lemon-bellied Crombec and Yellow-mantled Weaver, Rufous Thrush, Green Hylia, Grey Longbill and Uganda Woodland Warbler. GO4: Game drive & Boat Cruise
Cross early morning with a ferry to the Northern bank for a game drive to the Delta in search for Shoebill stork and other water birds. Animals you are likely to see here are Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Oribis, Hartebeests, Elephants, to mention but a few. Bird here include: the Carmine bee Eaters, Abyssinian ground Hornbills and many others. Afternoon boat ride to the base of the falls a magical trip through a beautiful scenery. The whole of the 43- 50 meters wide Nile River is forced into a gap of only 7 meters wide the immense force of the water and the views of the falls are awe inspiring. Boat cruise offers you opportunities to view a variety of water birds, schools of Hippos and Crocodiles. If you are staying at the Southern bank then hike up to the top of the falls and search for Rock Prantincoles, Bat Hawk, Beautiful sunbirds, White crested Turaco return late evening and look out night jars and owls. GO 5: Transfer to Kibale forest park
Kibale Park is Uganda’s tropical rain forest and offers excellent birding opportunities,bird the forest surrounding in the afternoon. O/N : Primate safari lodge /chimpanzee Guest house F/B

GO 6: Forest birding & Chimp Tracking Kibale Forest
Day starts with a hearty breakfast and there after drive to the tourist centre where you will meet site guides who will guide you into the shady forest. This diverse forest is one of its kind in Africa, It is a home to 13 species of primates including, the habituated chimpanzees, red colubus monkey, Red tailed monkey ,white and black colubus, grey mangabey, black faced vervet monkey, L’Hoest monkey, Pottos, Bush babies and Baboons. This forest also offers an excellent opportunity to birdwatcher (355spp) and butterfly lovers. Terrestrial animals that exist are the elusive forest Elephant (smaller& hairy) than its savanna counterpart, Gaint forest hog and buffaloes. Here we have a chance to bird the Forest in search for the green-breasted Pitta, Western bronze-napped Pigeon, Many-coloured Bush shrike. O/N: Primate safari lodge /chimpanzee Guest house  F/B

GO 7: Best birding destination, Bwindi forest park
Transfer to Bwindi forest an area with many forest species, this afternoon we will be on the lookout for key endemics such as Black Bee-eater, Red-throated Alethe, Red-faced Woodland Warbler, Masked Apalis, Neumann’s Warbler and Ruwenzori Batis. Other non-endemic specials include Black-faced Rufous Warbler, Dusky Tit, White-bellied Robin-chat and Sooty Flycatcher, Waller’s and Narrow-tailed Starlings in the dead tree snags. The Dusky Long-tailed Cuckoo, Black-necked Weaver, Lühder’s Bush-shrike and Bar-tailed Trogon will be spotted. O/N: Silverback Lodge/crested crane hotel F/B

GO 8: Half day bird watching through the waterfall trail. Return and transfer to Ruhija O/N: Ruhija Gorilla resort/Bakiga lodge/Broadbill forest camp three nights F/B

GO 9: Mubwindi Swamp trail
After breakfast with your picnic lunch take a trail to Mubwindi swamp that promises some of the most difficult of all rift endemics:- Grauer’s Rush warbler, African broadbill & Caruther’s cisticola. The day will be spent exploring the highland forests of Ruhija some 2300M above see level. Star attractions are: - Handsome francolin, African Hill babbler, Banded prinia,Shelley’s crimsonwing,Collared Apalis, Regal sun bird, Cassin’s Hawk Eagle, Toro-Olive Greenbul, Black Bee-eaters, Bronze-napped Pigeon, Many-Coloured Bush-shrike, pink footed puffback.

GO: 10 Gorilla tracking
Gorilla tracking is a life time experience that one shouldn’t miss tough hikes but rewarding exercise, one need to be physical fit as it may be demanding at some point due to elevation gains. For those with extra energy bird the Ruhija surrounding in the afternoon

GO 11: Woodland birding Lake Mburo Park
Transfer to Mburo Park for an afternoon birding, searching the, acacia savannah and woods for Red faced barbet, green backed woodpecker, Tabora cisticola, cuckoos, grey-capped warbler, and black-headed weaver, brown-chested lapwing, rufous-napped lark, black-bellied bustard, lilac-breasted roller, helmeted guineafowl, Coqui francolin, plus many raptors. GO: 12 Morning game drive & boat cruise and transfer to Kampala O/N Cassia lodge/Nexus resort B/B

GO 13: Transfer to Mabira early morning and spend the rest of the day in the forest return late afternoon to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay. O/N Cassia lodge/Nexus resort B/B

GO14: Mabamba swamp –Entebbe Airport for evening flight
Check out early morning and head for Mabamba swamp, using out dugout canoes search for the endangered shoebill stork and other water and swamp birds. Return and cross to Entebbe by ferry for your lunch and airport transfer. End of safari.
